Kualifikasi Pelamar
What skills and experience do you need?
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, or related field.
· Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in transmission and distribution systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
· Preferred a registered professional electrical engineer.
· Preferred Has SKTTK certificate for this position
· Demonstration of outstanding management, human relations and technical skills.
· Demonstration in participation of management/supervisory training development programs.
· Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to operate and maintain smart grid, power dispatch and SCADA/ILS
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid operations, and protective relaying
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
· Ability to manage team and collaboratively with other departments
· Ability to analyse data and identify trends to recommend financial decision
· Proficiency in safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) and regulatory compliance.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick, informed decisions
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Strong computer skills and be competent in all Microsoft Office software programs, as well as project-specific software and all business and maintenance-related software functions;
· Able to work on-site with regular working hour schedule (no roster).

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of transmission and distribution systems, enhancing the reliability and quality of energy supply while promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Some of your duties will include:
· responsible for the effective management, operation, and maintenance of the electrical transmission and distribution network.
· ensuring reliable power delivery to all facilities, maintaining system stability, and supporting the organization’s operational and production goals.
· Oversee the operations and maintenance of the Batu Hijau electrical grid, ensuring reliable power supply to all major load centers.
· Develop contingency plans and lead the team in responding to outages, equipment failures, or emergencies.
· Oversee fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and restoration efforts to minimize downtime.
· Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Transmission and Distribution Operations
– Operate and maintain the Batu Hijau electrical grid for reliable and efficient performance, encompassing GIS, AIS, SAS, T&D, high-voltage equipment, and distribution equipment.
– Ensure consistent and reliable power delivery to support plant and facility operations.
– Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and minimize energy losses.
- Maintenance and Reliability
– Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all T&D infrastructure.
– Develop and enhance strategic plans for power distribution maintenance management to support life-of-mine requirements.
– Conduct regular inspections, testing, and diagnostics of equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur.
– Maintain detailed maintenance records and equipment performance data to inform decision-making.
– Maximize the availability of power grid assets by minimizing planned downtime to the essential required levels, ensuring operational continuity.
– Enhance the reliability of power grid assets by thoroughly investigating and aiming to eliminate unplanned downtime.
- Safety and Compliance
– Enforce safety standards and procedures in all T&D operations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
– Lead safety training programs and drills for the T&D team to minimize risks and enhance preparedness.
– Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company policies related to electrical systems.
- Team Leadership and Coordination
– Manage and lead a team of technicians, engineers, and contractors to effectively execute T&D projects and operations.
– Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to build capacity and improve performance.
– Coordinate with other departments, including generation, maintenance, and production, to ensure seamless power delivery.
– Provide comprehensive electrical services and technical support to all site-wide departments, covering new installations, testing, commissioning, engineering reviews, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting of electrical issues.
– Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure they are informed of all T&D operation and maintenance activities, facilitating timely and successful project outcomes.
- Emergency Response and Outage Management
– Develop contingency plans and lead the team in responding to outages, equipment failures, or emergencies.
– Oversee fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and restoration efforts to minimize downtime.
– Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- System Planning and Development
– Collaborate with the engineering team on system planning, upgrades, and expansions to meet future demands.
– Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements or new technologies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
– Assist in capital project planning and budgeting for T&D-related investments.
- Reporting and Documentation
– Prepare and submit regular reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and operational challenges.
– Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, modifications, and incidents.
– Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and operational planning.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
