Kualifikasi Pelamar
What skills and experience do you need?
Background Experiences
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with speech, language, or behavioral needs.
- Strong background in special education, inclusion, and intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of multilingual and cross-cultural language development.
- Prior experience in international schools, IB Continuum Schools, or SPK settings is a plus.
Professional & Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Behavioral Therapy, or related field (Master is preferred).
- Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), DIRFloortime, speech therapy, or related areas (preferred).
- Training or certification in IB programs or experience in an IB school is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English for English-medium instruction; bilingual skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English are a plus.
- Knowledge of assistive technology and inclusive teaching strategies.
Expertise & Competencies
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and behavioral psychology.
- Experience with individualized intervention plans and student-centered approaches.
- Ability to differentiate strategies for students with diverse needs.
- Knowledge of executive functioning skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior interventions.
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.

Some of your duties will include
- Identify and address behavioral challenges, emotional regulation issues, and executive functioning difficulties in students.
- Design and implement positive behavior intervention strategies (PBIS) tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop behavior support plans and classroom management techniques.
- Support students with self-regulation, social skills, conflict resolution, and adaptive behaviors.
- Conduct group and one-on-one interventions focusing on emotional intelligence, resilience, and coping skills.
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate speech, communication, and behavioral needs.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy sessions and behavioral plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with external specialists (psychologists, occupational therapists, counselors) when necessary.
- Work closely with teachers, learning support staff, and counselors to create inclusive classroom environments.
- Train teachers and parents on eective communication and behavior management techniques.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Plan) reviews, and case conferences.
- Stay updated on research-based interventions and best practices in speech therapy and behavioral support.
- Conduct parent consultations and workshops on supporting speech and behavioral development at home.
- Provide regular updates on student progress, strategies, and recommendations.
- Foster a collaborative approach between home and school to ensure student success.
- Contribute to the development of school policies, professional learning communities (PLCs), and teacher training programs.
- Stay informed on best practices in speech therapy, behavioral management, and inclusive learning.
