Kualifikasi Pelamar

What skills and experience do you need?

Holder of bachelor’s degree in Power Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline. Advanced degree or relevant certifications would be preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experiences of experience in SCADA/ILS, protection relay, and transmission and distribution system engineering.
Be able to develop and maintain accurate electrical system models for generation, transmission, and distribution networks using software such as ETAP or equivalent.
Be able to perform load flow, short-circuit, stability, and protection coordination studies to ensure reliable and secure power system operation.
Be able to analyze system performance data to identify optimization, capacity improvement, and reliability enhancement opportunities.
Be able to interpret analysis results to support operational planning and decision-making.
Be able to review and verify relay protection settings according to coordination requirements and safety standards.
Be able to conduct relay testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting effectively during installation and maintenance phases.
Be able to analyze disturbance and event records to determine fault root causes and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
Be able to manage metering systems including calibration, validation, integration, and data reporting through SCADA or energy management platforms.
Be able to ensure the accuracy and reliability of metering data used for operational analysis and regulatory compliance.
Be able to provide engineering support for 150 kV transmission and 33/11/0.4 kV distribution system operations and maintenance.
Be able to develop technical procedures for system switching, energization, maintenance coordination, and emergency restoration.
Be able to evaluate system reliability and safety during T&D operations, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
Be able to coordinate with control room and automation teams to ensure accurate data acquisition and system integration.
Be able to develop and maintain SCADA point mapping, configuration, and real-time monitoring settings.
Be able to prepare and update engineering documentation including reports, single-line diagrams, protection setting sheets, and as-built drawings.
Be able to ensure compliance with applicable standards such as IEC, IEEE, PLN, and local regulations.
Be able to provide technical training and on-site support for operations, maintenance, and control room personnel.
Be able to participate in incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend system improvement actions.
Be able to apply safety, quality, and environmental standards in all engineering and operational activities.
Having sound Management Skills.
Good computer skills, be able to operate Microsoft Office, and any related plant software.
Good communication skill both verbal and in writing in English language.
Honest and transparent in all communications and admits to mistakes or lack of knowledge
Expresses one’s concerns clearly and is able to listen to diverse perspectives in the middle of disputes
Understands and executes course of actions that can support the achievement of team goals
Understands individual objectives and sets clear, measurable milestones for oneself and perseveres to achieve them
Able to work on site in Sumbawa with regular working hour (no roster schedule)

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Some of your duties will include:

Power System Modeling and Analysis

Develop and maintain accurate electrical system models (generation, transmission, and distribution) using power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP).
Perform load flow, short-circuit, stability, and protection coordination studies to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
Analyze system performance data to identify opportunities for optimization, capacity improvement, and network reliability enhancement.

Protection, Relaying, and Metering

Review and validate relay settings to ensure compliance with protection standards and coordination requirements.
Conduct relay testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting during installation and maintenance activities.
Analyze protection event records and disturbance reports to determine root causes and implement corrective measures.
Manage metering data collection, validation, and integration into SCADA and energy management systems for audits and reports.

Transmission and Distribution System Support

Provide engineering support for 150 kV transmission and 33/11/0.4 kV distribution network operation and maintenance.
Develop technical procedures for switching, energization, maintenance coordination, and emergency restoration planning.

SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)

Coordinate with control room and automation teams to ensure accurate data acquisition, system integration, and SCADA point mapping.
Develop and maintain real-time system monitoring and control configurations within the SCADA platform.
Analyze SCADA data to support operational decision-making and incident analysis.
Assist in system upgrades, RTU configuration, and ensure cybersecurity compliance for automation systems.

Technical Support, Compliance, and Documentation

Prepare engineering reports, single-line diagrams, protection settings sheets, and as-built documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, PLN, or local regulations).
Provide technical training and support for operations, maintenance, and control room personnel.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and system improvement projects.
Other duties as assigned
