Kualifikasi Pelamar
What skills and experience do you need?
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
· Have 8 years of working experiences with flotation, filtration, slurry pumping, and process plant utilities is preferred in mechanical maintenance or engineering in mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, or heavy industry; At least have 5 years’ experience in engineering roles as Engineer – Maintenance and reliability of flotation circuits, utility Systems, and filter plant equipment.
· Strong knowledge of mineral processing equipment; Pumps, piping, slurry systems; Rotating equipment; Filtration systems; Flotation circuits; Mechanical maintenance practices; Reliability engineering methods
· Have software skills: SAP / CMMS Maintenance Systems; Engineering drawing tools (AutoCAD preferred), Microsoft Office.
· Have certifications (Preferred): Mechanical engineering professional certification; Reliability / Maintenance certification; Safety training in heavy industry or mining environment.
· Strong leadership, team coordination and supervision; Good planning, organizational & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment; Effective communication and work productively with internal and external individuals; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; High attention to detail, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Continuous improvement mindset; Safety leadership and compliance.
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Good in reporting skills.

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Provide mechanical engineering support for maintenance and reliability of Flotation Circuits, Utility Systems, and Filter Plant equipment within the mineral processing facilities. The role ensures mechanical assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently through engineering analysis, maintenance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
This position supports maintenance activities for large fixed plant equipment including flotation cells, thickeners, filter presses, pumps, piping systems, compressors, conveyors, and auxiliary utility systems to ensure plant availability and production targets are achieved.
Some of your duties will include:
A. Mechanical Reliability & Maintenance Engineering
• Provide mechanical engineering support for flotation cells, agitators, thickeners, pumps, compressors, filter presses, and associated piping systems.
• Analyze equipment performance and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of mechanical equipment failures.
• Develop corrective and preventive maintenance strategies.
Maintenance Planning & Shutdown Support
• Support preparation of maintenance schedules, shutdown scopes, and work packs.
• Coordinate with planners and supervisors to ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently.
• Provide engineering input for major shutdown activities and plant turnarounds.
B. Equipment Performance Monitoring
• Monitor equipment condition through vibration analysis, oil analysis, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
• Analyze equipment history and recommend reliability improvement initiatives.
• Develop engineering solutions to reduce downtime and improve asset life.
C. Engineering Design & Improvement
• Provide engineering input for mechanical modifications, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
D. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all maintenance activities follow company safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Support implementation of safe work procedures and maintenance standards.
E. Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, reliability engineers, and project teams.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and technicians.
• Liaise with OEM vendors for technical support and equipment improvements.
