Kualifikasi Pelamar

What skills and experience do you need?

·      Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

·      Have minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering within heavy industry such as mining, mineral processing, cement plant, oil & gas, or heavy manufacturing is a must; At least have 5 years in a supervisory in electrical engineering roles or 3 years in similar role as Senior Engineer Electrical.

·      Strong knowledge and understanding of power systems 150kV, 33kV, 11kV, 6.6kV, and 3.3kV (HV, MV, LV), synchronous motor (brush and brushless), motor control system, protection and coordination system, instrumentation interface, transformers, generators, grounding systems, LPS, UPS, oil analysis, power flow simulations, harmonic filters, and GIS and AIS

·      Experience with ABB or Siemens Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) systems is highly preferred

·      Experience with electrical testing for motors, transformers, generators, power electronics, cable, switchgear, relay protection, insulation resistance, winding resistance, contact resistance, TTR, secondary injection, VLF, DGA, and BDV testing.

·      Experience with Multilin GE, Siprotec, RET, Simocode, Variable Speed Drive (ABB, Siemens/Innomotics, Rockwell) and software (Tia Portal, Starter, Simotion Scout, Digsi 5, IBA Padu, 800XA)

·      Familiarity with standards international (IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, OSHA, ASTM, etc.), Indonesians regulations, and company standards.

·      Ability to read schematic diagrams, single line diagrams, P&IDs, hydraulic or pneumatic system; Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

·      Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues.

·      Certification (Preferred): SKTTK Electrical; Professional Engineer; AK3 Listrik, POP

·      Strong leadership, team coordination and supervision; Good planning, organizational & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Effective communication and work productively with internal and external individuals; Problem-solving and analytical thinking; Safety leadership and compliance.

·      Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

Some of your duties will include:

·      Ensure full compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

·      Review, verify, and ensure completion of electrical systems in accordance with approved design specifications, international standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, etc.), Indonesian regulations, and company standards.

·      Provide technical support and engineering expertise for electrical systems.

·      Lead and execute testing, inspection, energization, and commissioning activities for all electrical equipment, including transformers, motors, switchgear, MCCs, UPSs, VSDs, cabling, earthing systems, and protection devices.

·      Demonstrate strong competency in logical troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical issues related to motors, transformers, control systems, MCCs, and power distribution systems, including active participation in group problem-solving initiatives.

·      Provide maintenance engineering services within the Process Maintenance Department.

·      Monitor departmental performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and work closely with frontline staff to implement corrective and improvement initiatives.

·      Manage the Change Management process to ensure compliance, provide engineering input, prioritize and coordinate resulting projects, and review the work of others for technical accuracy and QA/QC compliance.

·      Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major failures or downtime events and ensure timely follow-up and closure of corrective actions.

·      Compile failure data and conduct FMEA/FME analyses to support planning adjustments for preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) frequencies and spare parts strategies.

·      Develop, implement, and manage departmental engineering standards.

·      Act as a QA/QC technical resource when required.

·      Identify improvement opportunities and initiate, monitor, and evaluate trials of alternative parts or materials where feasible.

·      Oversee new electrical installations, including design review, modifications, commissioning activities, and baseline performance measurements.

·      Ensure all electrical work is properly documented, filed, and recorded for future reference and compliance purposes.

·      Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime, including planning and scheduling total plant shutdowns.

·      Assist in the development of departmental procedures and policies, administer discipline where required, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.

·      Support the development and review of commissioning procedures, method statements, and electrical handover dossiers.

·      Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, construction teams, and commissioning teams to ensure electrical systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules.

·      Monitor electrical commissioning activities, identify issues or risks, and develop and implement action plans for timely resolution.

·      Ensure all electrical systems are fully documented and compliant with handover requirements.

·      Ensure the SAT and FAT electrical equipment procedure and acceptance.

·      Develop and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance their electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

·      Work closely with maintenance teams to address maintainability issues, reduce operational costs, and improve overall productivity.

·      Keep abreast of technological advancements and proactively seek alternative solutions to engineering and maintenance challenges.
