Kualifikasi Pelamar
What skills and experience do you need?
· Tertiary degree in mechanical engineering;
· Have 8 years of working experiences in mechanical maintenance lubrication of heavy equipment or fixed plant within large process plants such as mining, mineral processing, heavy industry; At least have 3-5 years’ experience in Supervisory role as Supervisor – Maintenance Lubrication
· Strong experience in lubrication systems for SAG & Ball Mill, Crushers & Screens, Conveyors, Pumps & rotating equipment
· Strong knowledge of lubrication principles and best practices; Oil analysis and condition monitoring; bearing lubrication and failure modes; centralized / automatic lubrication systems
· Familiar with CMMS / SAP PM systems; Maintenance strategies (Preventive, Predictive, RCM); Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
· Certifications (Preferred): Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT I / II); Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS); Training in Oil Analysis / Reliability Engineering

The Supervisor Maintenance Lubrication is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all lubrication activities across the processing fixed plant to ensure equipment reliability, optimal performance, and extended asset life. This role ensures proper lubrication practices, contamination control, and condition monitoring are implemented in accordance with OEM standards and company maintenance strategies.
Some of your duties will include:
A. Lubrication Management & Execution
– Plan, schedule, and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly lubrication activities for all plant equipment.
– Ensure proper lubrication of critical equipment including:
o Crushers (Primary, Secondary, Pebble Crusher)
o Grinding Mills (SAG Mill, Ball Mill)
o Pumps and piping systems
o Conveyors and pulley systems
o Screens and vibrating equipment
– Develop and maintain lubrication routes, checklists, and schedules.
– Ensure correct selection and application of lubricants (grease, oil, specialty lubricants) as per OEM specifications.
B. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
– Implement lubrication-based preventive maintenance programs.
– Monitor lubrication conditions through: Oil analysis; Grease condition checks; Contamination control (dust, water ingress)
– Identify early signs of equipment wear or failure through lubrication data.
– Support predictive maintenance strategies (condition monitoring integration).
C. Equipment Reliability & Performance
– Improve equipment reliability through proper lubrication practices.
– Analyze lubrication-related failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
– Recommend improvements for lubrication systems (automatic lubrication, filtration upgrades, etc.).
– Ensure optimal performance of centralized and automatic lubrication systems.
D. Inventory & Lubricant Management
– Manage lubricant inventory including storage, handling, and usage control.
– Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and contamination-free storage of lubricants.
– Monitor consumption and optimize lubricant usage to reduce cost.
– Coordinate with warehouse and procurement for lubricant availability.
E. HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Compliance
– Ensure all lubrication activities comply with Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
– Promote safe handling and disposal of lubricants and hazardous materials.
– Ensure environmental compliance related to oil spills, waste oil disposal, and contamination prevention.
F. Supervision & Team Leadership
– Supervise and coordinate lubrication technicians and contractors.
– Provide technical guidance, coaching, and competency development.
– Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to SOPs.
– Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
G. Documentation & Reporting
– Maintain accurate lubrication records and history in CMMS / SAP system.
– Prepare reports on lubrication compliance, oil analysis results, equipment condition trends.
– Ensure all documentation meets audit and IMS requirements.
H. Continuous Improvement
– Drive lubrication excellence programs (best practices, standardization).
– Implement reliability-centered lubrication (RCL) principles.
– Support digitalization initiatives (lubrication tracking systems, sensors).
– Benchmark lubrication practices against industry standards.
